Silver Alert canceled: Max Eversole found

TAHLEQUAH — A Silver Alert issued Wednesday afternoon for Max Eversole has been canceled after he was found in Muskogee late last night.

Eversole, a former Muskogee County tag agent, had been a resident at a Tahlequah assisted living center. He was reported missing yesterday, and Tahlequah Police Department issued an alert at about 2:30 p.m.

Reports indicate he was found around 10 p.m.

Eversole is the father of Dr. Dana Eversole, NSU professor of Media Studies.
