OSBI investigates body found in Adair County

STILWELL — Adair County investigators and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are looking for the identity of a body found outside a rural church.

The unidentified victim suffered trauma to his head that may have been inflicted Tuesday morning. A pastor at Pleasant Valley Holiness Church found the murder victim in the parking lot near the intersection of South County Road 6920 and State Highway 100 in Adair County.

Officials in Adair County and Cherokee County have checked missing-person reports for people with similar features, but had found no matches as of Wednesday morning.
