Woman's body found; TPD, OSBI investigating

TAHLEQUAH — From the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation:

The Tahlequah Police Department has requested OSBI assistance with a homicide case. Friday, May 31, 2013, a woman’s body was found inside a home at 102 Kupsick Street. Investigators believe she is a murder victim. However, the medical examiner will determine her cause and manner of death. She has not yet been positively identified, so a name is not available. A Northeastern State University officer discovered her body about 6 o’clock last night when the victim’s friends asked for a welfare check.

Agents are searching for the victim’s vehicle -- a red, 2011 Ford Fiesta with Oklahoma license plate 098HQO. If anyone spots this vehicle or has information about this crime, call the OSBI immediately at 1-800-522-8017 or the Tahlequah Police Department.
