ENID, Okla. — An Enid woman died early Saturday while in custody at the Garfield County Jail.

Jail officials say 26-year-old Jordan Lindsey Leigh Thompson was found unresponsive in her cell at 4:30 a.m. Thompson's body was transported to the Office of the State Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.

The Jail Inspection Division of the Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are investigating Thompson's death.

Enid police say Thompson was arrested following a traffic accident Friday on a complaint of driving under the influence. She was booked into the Garfield County Jail at 7 p.m.
