Former Sequoyah standout Angel Goodrich was drafted in the third round and 29th overall by the Tulsa Shock on Monday night during the WNBA draft.
Goodrich, once projected to go with one of the first six picks in the draft, slipped down the draft board and went to the Shock with the franchise's second pick of the night. Tulsa selected Notre Dame's Skylar Diggins with the third overall pick.
For the second straight season, Goodrich led Kansas to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. Goodrich averaged 14.1 points and 7.2 assists per game.
