OSU to host Anteaters in Super Regional

It's Super Regional time at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

The Oklahoma State University baseball team knew Sunday night it was in NCAA Super Regional play. The Pokes defeated Cal State Fullerton, 6-4, to win the Stillwater Regional.

OSU had to wait until early Tuesday morning to learn its Super Regional opponent and the Super Regional location.

National top-seed Oregon State forced Monday night's if necessary game with a 4-0 win over University of California Irvine Sunday night.

The story was different Monday as the UC Irvine Anteaters scored took a 4-1 lead into the eighth inning and held on to defeat Oregon State 4-2 at Goss Stadium in Corvalis, Ore.

UC Irvine, a regional third seed, will come to Stillwater for the best of 3 Super Regional at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

Ticket information was not immediately available early Tuesday morning.
