Kiwanis lunch to aid Boys & Girls Club

TAHLEQUAH — The Boys & Girls Club of Tahlequah and the Kiwanis Club of Tahlequah are partnering to host a chili lunch Thursday, Jan. 23.

The luncheon will be held at the Cherokee County Community Building, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door or in advance from any Kiwanis member or board member for Boys & Girls Club.

In addition to chili and Frito chili pies, each meal includes a drink and dessert. The clubs will also be hosting a silent auction during the event with many great items available. The proceeds will go to support the clubs in their efforts to enhance the lives of children.

    The RSVP Muskogee program partners with over 50 non-profits in Cherokee, Muskogee, Sequoyah, and McIntosh counties, and is sponsored by Volunteers of America of Oklahoma Inc.
