Indian Nations Audubon Society will offer a course on the identification of birds in the wild beginning on Monday, March 10.
The indoor classes will be held on the second and fourth Monday evenings of March, April, and May.
There will be field trips on Saturday mornings following the evening classes.
This course is designed for those interested in birds but without previous instruction in bird identification. Indoor classes include discussions of what was seen in the last field trip, tips on how to identify the species of birds found in Cherokee County, and the resources one can use in birding such as binoculars, field guides, and computer programs.
This course has no fees, but participants should make a commitment to attend as many classes and field trips as possible. Locations will vary and times will be set to suit participants.
