The 2013-2014 NSU Green Country Jazz Series hosts jazz pianist Scott McQuade for a pair of concerts on Sunday, April 6 and Monday, April 7.
McQuade will be accompanied by the NSU’s critically-acclaimed Jazz Ensemble.
McQuade, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, has established himself in the region as one of the most sought after jazz musicians and bandleaders. He has had the opportunity to perform alongside such world-renowned jazz artists as Louis Bellson, Randy Brecker, Cleveland Eeaston, Curtis Fuller, Slide Hampton, Wycliffe Gordon, Victor Goines, Delfeayo Marsalis, Jason Marsalis, Kevin Mahogany, Lenny Pickett and Clark Terry.
The first performance, April 6, will be at The Jazz Depot in Tulsa at 5 p.m. General admission is $15, student and senior tickets cost $10, and children that are 12 and younger are admitted free. For more information, visit www.okjazz.org.
