Anti-‘Obamacare’ rally on tap

TAHLEQUAH — StopObamacarePenaltiesNow.com will be hosting 12 rallies in cities throughout Oklahoma. The purpose is to show support for the Oklahoma state legislators who are preparing legislation to stop the Obamacare penalties from being implemented in Oklahoma.

A rally is planned for Saturday, Feb. 1 at noon in the Tahlequah Armory Municipal Center, 100 N. Water St. The public is invited to attend.

State representatives and state senators representing the surrounding area will be invited to attend and express their support for this suite of legislation.

    Currently, 35 birthing hospitals in Oklahoma provide parents and caregivers with information about normal infant crying, ways to cope, and the dangers that can result from shaking an infant.
    This program, called the Period of PURPLE Crying, uses purple-colored baby caps created by volunteer knitters participating in the PPC “CLICK for Babies” campaign as a visual reminder of the program.
