Coalition to host geologist

PEGGS — The Spring Creek Coalition will hold its annual meeting Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Peggs Community Center.

Dr. Van Brahana, with over 28 years experience, will speak on Spring Creek and Ozark geology.

“My presentation will discuss the interaction of water and rocks and how that creates karst landscapes, how springs are integrated into that and influences on water quality,” said Van Brahana. “I’d like to give Spring Creek Coalition members specifics to help them understand the science behind geological happenings on Spring Creek.”

For more information, call Beth Rooney, SCC president, at (918) 906-6762.
