CASA playhouse drawing Saturday

TAHLEQUAH — The winning ticket for the 2014 CASA Playhouse for Kids will be drawn at Reasor’s on Saturday, June 7, at 3 p.m.

Tickets will be on sale through Friday afternoon at Armstrong Bank, BancFirst (all three locations), Tulsa Teachers Credit Union, Timbers Vet Clinic, and the CASA office. Tickets will also be on sale at both entrances to Reasor’s from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday. Tickets cost $1 each or six for $5.

The backyard playhouse project is an annual fundraiser for Court Appointed Special Advocates of Cherokee Country, a nonprofit organization that trains volunteers to speak for abused and neglected children in Cherokee County district court, Adair County District Court, and Cherokee Nation Tribal Court.

If the winner is not present at the drawing on June 7, CASA will call the telephone numbers shown on the winning ticket stub.

If, after one week, the individual cannot be reached, another ticket will be drawn. The playhouse will be delivered to the winner at no cost within a 30-mile radius of Tahlequah.

For more information, call CASA of Cherokee Country, 918-456-8788 or 866-400-8788. The CASA office is at 304 W. Keetoowah St. in Tahlequah.
