Of the following choices, which do you perceive to be the biggest problem with health care today?
• Insurance premiums are way too high, and so are deductibles and co-pays, and you don't really get much for your money.
• Doctors and hospitals charge far too much, and tests, X-rays and other procedures are cost-prohibitive, sometimes even when you have insurance.
• Too many people are filing lawsuits, which forces the poor doctors and insurance companies to raise their fees. Who can blame them?
• The quality of health care in this country is poor, regardless of cost.
• HMOs have restricted doctor and procedure choices, and overpaid hospital CEOs and other "bean counters" are in it for the profit rather than to help people.
• Too many people are on the dole and not paying for their own health care, which is driving up costs for the rest of us.
• Pharmaceutical companies have pushed their prices to the limit; most drugs aren't that effective, anyway, but we're paying for them nevertheless.
• There aren't enough regulations to keep prices down and quality up, and Congress is too spineless to do anything about it.
• The waits to get into see doctors (especially specialists) is way too long.
• Too many people have bad habits (smoking, obesity, lack of exercise) that are causing them to be unhealthy, thus driving up costs for the rest of us.
• None of the above.
