Editor, Daily Press:
My name is C.E. Blanchard. The information I am about to share with you and your readers is real, and I hope it helps someone else from making the same mistake.
There is a man who lives in Spiro. His name is Tommy Harrison. He goes all over the country painting roofs of metal buildings, like barns, mobile homes. All work is guaranteed.
My experience with the man has been expensive, so far it has cost me $735.
He painted the roofs of my three out buildings that cost me $635 for just under an hour of work. Two days later, the roofs turned from silver to brown.
I called Mr. Harrison, and one week later, he did come by and repainted about 10 square feet of the roofs again. He said if it happens again, call him.
Well, it lasted about 24 hours and they all turned brown again. I have called his numbers, and no returned calls.
I took him to small claims court in Tahlequah in November, 2007. He didn’t even show up for the court date. The judged ruled in my favor.
The judge ordered Mr. Harrison to pay all court costs, plus the amount paid for the work done, for a total of $735, to be repaid back to me. I was told to send him a registered letter, which I did, and he did sign for it. He knows what the judge’s decision was and what he was to pay.
I still haven’t heard from him as yet.
