Does the owner of the lots where the new strip mall is being put in next to Carl’s Jr. still own the old Bandido’s/Big B Pizza, Beacon Drive In, and the lot between the Beacon and the Sonic Drive In? Unsightly businesses Editor, Daily Press:
I’m curious about something. Does the owner of the lots where the new strip mall is being put in next to Carl’s Jr. still own the old Bandido’s/Big B Pizza, Beacon Drive In, and the lot between the Beacon and the Sonic Drive In? If so, why is it the owner has money to build a new strip mall, but can’t find the time or money to tend to the unsightly weeds growing on the Bandido’s/Big B Pizza lot and the Beacon lot, or do something about the rusted machinery on the lot between the Beacon and Sonic? Also, isn’t this person on some sort of city council board that addresses such issues and is responsible for zoning? Tahlequah is such a pretty town; it would be nice if people would take the time to keep it that way, especially those in a leadership position. Troy Sanford Tahlequah
