God hates sin, not sinners

TAHLEQUAH — Editor, Daily Press:

This letter is in response to the article that Karen Cooper wrote, calling the column written by Corene Fisher “hate speech.”

Corene wrote the article strictly by what the Bible says. She doesn’t hate homosexuals, nor does she hate any person that doesn’t agree with her. God does not hate homosexuals and lesbians, nor the child molester or rapist; God hates the sin only. Jesus died for every soul and we can be assured we will stand before him and give account of our lives. He’s the judge!

Corene did not say God hates homosexuals; God only hates the sin.

What to you think of a state Legislature proposal to forbid cities from raising the minimum wage? Choose the closest to your opinion.

The federal government should set the minimum wage across the board.
States should be allowed to raise their minimum wages, but not cities.
Both states and cities should be allowed to raise their minimum wages.
Cities should be allowed to raise their mimum wages, but not states.
There should be no minimum wage at all.
Undecided.
