Miss Indian Oklahoma to be honored here

The Oklahoma Federation of Indian Women and the Cherokee Nation will host a graduation banquet in honor of 2008 -2009 Miss Indian Oklahoma Socia Love. The reception will be Saturday, March 7, 2 to 5 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the Sequoyah High School Gym.
Love is a daughter of Charles and Vicki Love of Tahlequah and Bill and Louella Allen of Park Hill. She is a 2008 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology. While attending OU, she was a College of Arts and Science Leadership Scholar, Indian Health Service Scholar, and member of the American Indian Student Association and Gamma Delta Pi, the American Indian sorority.
“We are very proud of Socia and would like to invite everyone to attend a reception in her honor,” said Angela Kihega, president.
