COOKSON -- Two Cookson residents face charges of endeavoring to manufacture methamphetamine after a Wednesday morning drug raid.
Cherokee County sheriff's investigators worked with District 27 drug task force agents to serve a search warrant at a Cookson residence.
They arrested Dusty Dawn Rollice, 34, and Shawn A. Peters, 37, on charges of endeavoring to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities found chemicals and equipment commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. They also found substances believed to be methamphetamine and marijuana and some items of paraphernalia commonly used in the distribution and use of controlled drugs.
Formal charges are expected to be filed in district court against Rollice and Peters. They will be formally arraigned after charges are filed.
