TENKILLER HARBOR – Cherokee County sheriff’s investigators continued building cases Friday dealing with a series of burglaries in the Tenkiller Harbor.
Investigator Becky Thompson, Sheriff’s Deputy Waylon Tarkington, and Undersheriff Jason Chennault served a search warrant Friday morning at the residence of Karen Linvick. Linvick’s son, Sean, was arrested last month. He is formally charged with single counts of second-degree burglary and knowingly concealing stolen property.
Tarkington said Karen Linvick drove by while sheriff’s office personnel were serving the search warrant and continued to a family member’s house. Tarkington followed her and issued her a citation for driving without a license, and arrested her on a knowingly concealing stolen property charge.
He said authorities found several mowers, weedeaters, chainsaws and other items, and are working to determine how much of the property is stolen. A probable cause affidavit completed by Thompson states Karen Linvick told investigators some of the property is stolen.
Karen’s bond was set at $7,500. Sean’s bond was previously set at $50,000. He is scheduled to appear on Associate District Judge Mark Dobbins’ felony sounding docket.
