Cherokee County commissioners Monday approved reimbursement for the Double Springs Creek project.
The project was in District 1 Commissioner Doug Hubbard’s area, and emergency repairs were needed due to flooding. The Natural Resources Conservation Service is reimbursing 75 percent of the $39,175.87 cost.The commissioners will out a new bid notice for the metal flashing and fascia restoration project for the west building of the Cherokee County Health Department. No bids were received, and CCHD Director Linda Axley asked the project be rebid.
A lease agreement for the Sequoyah, Adair and Cherokee counties nutrition project was OK’d for District 2. The board OK’d juvenile detention services agreements with Muskogee Youth Services and ROCMND (Rogers, Osage, Craig, Mayes, Nowata and Delaware) Area Youth Services Inc.
A boat ramp license on Fort Gibson Lake’s Sunset Valley, with the Department of Army Corps of Engineers, was approved.
