Area woman injured in crash

A Locust Grove woman was listed in serious condition after a single-car crash near Salina Friday night.
According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Sharon Kelley, 26, was transported by Tulsa LifeFlight to St. Francis Hospital with head and trunk internal injuries.
Kelley was driving east on Kenwood Road at approximately 10:30 p.m., Friday, and when she tried to negotiate a curve, ran her 1995 Ford off the right side of the road, losing control.
The OHP report states after leaving the road, the vehicle hit an embankment, rolled twice, and ejected the driver before coming to rest on its wheels. The road was dry with no impediments.
Kelley was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The accident was investigated by OHP trooper Shawn Cummings of the Mayes County detachment.
