SALLISAW –– A Webbers Falls man was listed in stable condition Sunday morning after being a passenger in a vehicle that drove into a ravine near Sallisaw.
Kevin Springer, 32, suffered arm and leg injuries and was a passenger in a 2003 Jeep Laredo driven by Brandy Allen, 29.
Allen, of Sallisaw, was not injured. Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports state her ability to operate the vehicle was impaired due to drinking, and lists drunken or impaired driving as a cause of the crash. Allen was driving east on State Highway 101, which is closed due to construction. Allen drove past several “roads closed” signs and into a ravine.
The crash was investigated by OHP Trooper Adam Wood and was reported at 5:53 a.m.
