A Tahlequah man faces felony drug possession charges after his arrest Monday by police.
Michael C. Lowery, 25, was booked for public drunk and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a park or school.
Sgt. Randy Tanner and Lt. Jonathan Wells are listed on the report that shows Lowery attempted to sell several tablets of hydrocodone, known often by the brand name Lortab. Police intervened and gained a confession from Lowery.
Charges are expected to be filed in district court against Lowery, who had approximately 20 hydrocodone tablets.
