TAHLEQUAH — Five people were jailed Friday morning when members of the Tahlequah Police Department SWAT team and District 27 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force served a warrant on West 810 Road, west of Bald Hill Road.

Authorities swarmed a trailer house just before 8 a.m. and detained several people. Police said a child was also inside the home.

According to investigators, approximately 20 bags of marijuana were found in the home, and other empty baggies were scattered throughout the house. Investigators also discovered scales, cash, a grinder and other items they believe were used for drug distribution.

Investigators allege marijuana was being sold and distributed from the trailer home.

Austin M. Trammell was arrested for maintaining a dwelling where a controlled dangerous substance is sold, public intoxication, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Amanda Marie Johnson was booked for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and child endangerment.

Authorities also arrested Ronnie K. Rigney, John D. Vannote, and Cody D. Norseworthy on drug-possession charges. All five were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center.
