Man arrested after fatal stabbing in Adair County

TAHLEQUAH — An Adair County man was in custody Friday afternoon after a fatal stabbing south of Stilwell.

A spokesman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Justin “Choogie Boy” Killer, 28, was booked into the Adair County Jail on a first-degree manslaughter charge.

Adair County Sheriff Austin Young said Killer, accompanied by family members, turned himself in at the sheriff’s office at 3 p.m. Friday.

He is expected to be formally charged next week in connection with the stabbing death of Jason Lee Littlecook, 31. The sheriff said Littlecook was stabbed once in the upper torso, and investigators have recovered the knife they believe was used in the attack.

Young said the sheriff’s office received a 911 call, and deputies arrived on the scene to find Littlecook’s body. He said evidence indicates the two men had been drinking beer and liquor when an altercation started.

The case was investigated by Adair County sheriff’s deputies and the OSBI. Assistant District Attorney Josh King received a probable cause affidavit for Killer’s arrest and issued an arrest warrant Friday.

Young said Killer did give OSBI agents a statement about the incident, but details were unknown at press time.
