TAHLEQUAH — Crews this week began to demolish an abandoned radiator shop at the corner of South Street and Guinn Avenue. The city of Tahlequah purchased the property several years ago, and new clean-up efforts are part of a plan to create a “greenbelt” that follows Town Branch Creek. Demolition and clean-up are funded through a recent capital-improvements sales tax. Zenith Construction was hired to demolish and clean up the site, according to Mayor Jason Nichols.
