TAHLEQUAH — Authorities say two people were injured Wednesday evening when they were stabbed with a pair of scissors in the Eldon area.

According to Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies, a woman drove a man to a home in that area to get clothing and other items.

When the man went inside, a woman in the residence went out and began to argue with the female driver.

The argument escalated, and one person was stabbed with a pair of scissors in the right forearm, while another person was stabbed on the left temple.

No arrests were made in the stabbing, and an investigation is under way into the incident, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies dispatched to the stabbing did arrest Leo A. Murphy, 30, and Amanda L. Clinton, 31, on outstanding warrants.
