Prosecutors have charged a Stilwell woman in connection to her arrest at a Tahlequah motel earlier this month.
Amber Renee Killer, 25, is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Court records show she is jailed with a $6,000 bond, and is due back in court Monday for a felony sounding docket in front of Associate District Judge Mark Dobbins.
Killer was arrested March 7 after investigators with the Tahlequah Police Department received an anonymous she was in a room at the Super Inn and Suites, at the intersection of Downing and the bypass in Tahlequah. Killer was wanted for a warrant out of Adair County, where she was charged last year with possession of contraband by an inmate.
Investigators arrived at the room and said the door opened and closed “rapidly.” They knocked on the door, and about two minutes later, a woman opened the door.
Four people were inside, including Killer, who reportedly gave investigators a false name and lied about who had rented the room. During a security sweep of the room, officers found a small amount of marijuana and a smoking device on a table.
Investigators asked for and received a state search warrant and found multiple smoking devices, along with a white crystal-like substance.
Authorities said they also found, in Killer’s purse, snorting straws and a small bag containing a white powdery substance that was later identified as methamphetamine.
