TAHLEQUAH — Advertising Manager Butch Breshears of Yates Auto Mall recently presented a donation check to 5C’s President Mitchell DuVall in support of the Cherokee Cruisin’ Classic Car Club’s 26th Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Car Show, to be held Saturday, April 27, at the Cherokee Square.

“Everyone loves a classic car show, and we especially enjoy sponsoring the Best of Show award,” said Breshears.

Registration will be held from 8 a.m. until noon, and will cost $20 per vehicle. The first 125 entries will receive a custom-made dash plaque. There will be many door prizes along with $25 cash give-aways every 30 minutes for the car show participants.

Along with first and second place trophies in 36 categories, there are six specialty trophies with the Best of Show receiving a cash award.

The car club with the most entries will also receive $100. The Boy Scouts of American will be out selling hamburgers and dutch oven desserts. All of the proceeds from the show will be donated to various local charities.

“This is a wonderful fun-filled family activity and with over 200 of the best classic vehicles coming from several states, a car buff can definitely spend all day dreaming,” said DuVall. “And if you want to enter, don’t worry we have a class that will fit your vehicle whether it’s an original, modified, rat rod or even an unfinished car. So come out and enjoy the day.”

Pre-registration is available at DuVall’s Transmission, 613 S. Cedar.
