A judge on Friday ordered a Tahlequah man to remain behind bars without bond until he can be evaluated.
Anthony Leon Thomas, 29, was arrested last October and later charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Authorities alleged Thomas took a sword to the home of Evan Fishinghawk and swung it at Fishinghawk.
Thomas allegedly poked Fishinghawk in the chest with the sword and threatened Fishinghawk’s life.
Thomas was formally charged in November, and was released on a $5,000 bond.
Court documents show Thomas was ordered to undergo a Level of Service Inventory earlier this year.
He was also considering a plea agreement in February, but when he failed to appear in court on March 12, a judge issued a warrant for Thomas’ arrest.
Thomas is now held without bond pending the results of an LSI.
Thomas has been ordered back to court on April 7.
