Wednesday, Dec. 26: Good morning!

TAHLEQUAH — Good morning! We hope you had a safe and happy holiday season. Now that it's feeling a bit more like winter, bundle up and grab a newspaper. Here's a little bit of what you can expect in this Thursday's Daily Press:

• Rob Anderson will look at champagne's association with New Year's, and will compare a few brands for those of you who plan to partake during the upcoming holiday.

• Rob is also taking a look at hawk populations in the area and talked with an area game warden about these creatures.

We'll also have court- and crime-related news from the holiday weekend, and much more. Stay warm and stay safe.
