TAHLEQUAH — We hope you had a safe New Year holiday! Here's a look at what you can find in the Thursday edition of the Daily Press:

• Renee Fite talks with experts on the importance of healthy living, right on time for those new year's resolutions.

• Rob Anderson has a feature on Tolkien Day, and has talked to some fans of The Hobbit. (Have you seen the movie?)

• Rob also has a feature on hot tea month.

• Josh Newton will report on the number of deferred prosecution agreements reached in 2012 with Cherokee County prosecutors. Compared to 2011, the year's totals were down by a large percentage.
