RiverHawks finish 5th at the Rattler Roundup

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Northeastern State women's golf team finished tied for fifth Tuesday at the Lady Rattler Round-Up hosted by St. Mary's at The Dominion Country Club.

The RiverHawks (633, 317-316) ended the tournament tied with Midwestern who shot. Finishing in fourth place was Oklahoma Christian (628) with Dallas Baptist in third (622), St. Edwards in second (613) and Tarleton State in first place (596).

Senior Whitney McAteer led NSU with a card of 156 (79-77) and tied for 12th place.

Sophomore Alex Koch placed 18th with a score of 157 (79-78). Senior Kelsey Kirkpatrick tied for 25th with a card of 159 (76-83) on the day.

Freshman McCandren Lewis tied for 38th after posting a 162 (83-7). Freshman Kayla Schroeder rounded out Northeastern's five tied for 57th at 169 (87-82).

The RiverHawks next competition will be in three weeks at the Missouri Western Invitational at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Mo. The two-day tournament is scheduled for March 25-26.
