NSU women finish 8th

The Northeastern State women’s golf team moves up two positions to place eighth in the final day of the UCO RCB Tournament hosted at Lincoln Park Golf Course East.

The RiverHawks ended play with 298 on the day and 606 for the tournament.

Seniors Whitney McAteer and Kelsey Kirpatrick led the RiverHawks in play on day two. McAteer tied for 11th and shot 2-over par while Kirkpatrick shot 1-over par to improve from day one. Freshman McCandren Lewis tied for 30th and shot a 5-over par round of 77. Sophomore Alex Koch shot 2-over par to tie in 36th place and freshman Kirsten Degutis ended the tournament in 86th place with a day two score of 88.
