Bobby was born in Wichita, Kan., to William and Bonnie McCorkle.

Shortly after, they moved to Midwest City and later to the Tahlequah. He attended Keys Grade School and graduated from Tahlequah High School.

He married Lori Webb and they were blessed with two beautiful redheads, Tyler and Tarah, who presently reside in Tulsa.

Bobby enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the reserve. He later re-enlisted for active duty.

He served tours in Alaska, Iraq and Egypt. Bobby received his retirement in July of 2013 and moved to Bryan, Texas.

He leaves behind his wife, Deborah; stepchildren, Trent, Dalton, William and Mackensie, all of Bryan, Texas; a son, Tyler McCorkle, and daughter, Tarah Porter, both of Tulsa; two grandchildren who he loved dearly, Tia and Kingston; his mom and dad, William and Betty McCorkle of Park Hill; two stepsisters, Robin Jenkins and husband Brad, and Kelli Macario and husband Frank; a stepbrother, Rodney Thomas and wife Trish; along with many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Bobby was loved by all and even in the valleys of his life he always had a very strong faith in the Lord.
