Elsie Tarrance

TAHLEQUAH — Funeral services for Elsie Tarrance are 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 5 at Green Country Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Mike Weir, Danny Deckard, Carl Dallis, John Deckard, Bennie Allen Taylor, and Bill Deckard. Honorary pallbearers are Jackson Tarrance, Cade Feary, Ralph Hodge, John Hodge, and Alton Hodge. Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Elsie Tarrance was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Bunch to Sam Hodge and Sarah Nan (Girdner) Hodge. She passed away on Monday, Dec. 2 in Tahlequah. Elsie was 92 years old.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie "Jack" Tarrance; son, Jack Tarrance; seven siblings, Roy Hodge, Lillian Hodge, Raymond Hodge, Alvin Hodge, Doc Hodge, Otis Hodge, and Jewel (Hodge) Bolton.

She is survived by three brothers, Ralph Hodge of Welling, John Hodge of Welling, and Alton Hodge of Ariz; two grandchildren, Jack Tarrance and wife Kim of Welling, and Tara Feary and husband Chris also of Welling; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Tarrance, Jackson Tarrance and Cade Feary.
