Russell Bryan Arnall

TAHLEQUAH — Funeral services for Russell Bryan Arnall are 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, at Green Country Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Walker and Rev. Ted Whitekiller. Pallbearers are Chris Arnall, Stephen Arnall, Brandon Arnall, Curtis Medlin, Billy Arnall, Wesley Hood, Dustin Shade, Caleb Murray, and Casey Arnall. Honorary pallbearers include Bob Copeland, John Watson, Bobby Young, Roy Rose, Darrell Padgett and Bill Thurman. Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at tahlequahfuneral.com.

Russell Bryan Arnall, 65, of Tahlequah, passed peacefully with his family by his side Friday, Feb. 28. Russell was born July 21, 1948, in Tulsa, to Bill and Delores Arnall. He was an avid sportsman that loved hunting and fishing. Russell was a carpenter by trade and retired from Northeastern State University in 2011. He enjoyed cookouts and anytime spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alta Arnall; his brother, Johnny Arnall; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Arnall.

Russell is survived by his children, Shelly Shade and husband Larry of Lost City, Bryan Arnall and wife Alicia of Shady Grove; brothers, Ron Arnall and wife Edith, and Charles Arnall and wife Sherry, all of Tahlequah; sisters, Diedra Hood and husband Tom, and Rhonda Thurman and husband Bill, also all of Tahlequah; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; an uncle, R.C. Arnall; as well as a host of family and friends. Russell will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
