PROCTOR — Services for Kimberly Joy Ball are 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Proctor Community Church, with Rev. Vonn officiating. Interment will follow in the Proctor Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are Shaun Glory, Ethan Davis, Mike Tootle, Derek Godwin, Caylan Godwin, and David Killin Jr.

Kimberly Joy George was born on May 25, 1968, and went to be with the Lord on Nov. 15, 2013, at the age of 45 years, five months and 21 days.

Born and raised in Tahlequah, Kimberly graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1986. After graduation, Kim attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.

Kimberly was an emergency medical technician for many years and also worked as a youth counselor. Kimberly enjoyed writing, woodworking, and anything to do with the ocean.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Wanda George of Tahlequah; an uncle, James George of Tahlequah, and her cousin, Brian Killin of Tahlequah.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Margaret Carr of Tahlequah; paternal grandparents Jess and Sue Carr of Tahlequah; brothers, Mark Carr and wife Rhonda of Tahlequah, and James Carr of Tahlequah; one aunt, Pat Bullett and husband Danny of Welling; two uncles, David Killin and wife Judy, and Richard George, all of Tahlequah. Kimberly also leaves behind many cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Kimberly was a shining bright star in this world, and now has taken her place in heaven. She will be greatly missed by all.
