Stanley “Stan” Goins Jr.

HULBERT — Stanley “Stan” Goins Jr., 34, passed away in Gonzalas, Texas, where he was working as a supervisor for a railroad, on Saturday, March 8, as the result of a fatal automobile accident.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 17, at the Hulbert High School Field House in Hulbert. Pallbearers will be Tim Basco, Randy Morris, Garydon Morgan, and Chris Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Waits, Matthew Waits, Bobby Smith, Heath Weston, Jeremy Gayer, and Ronnie Armstrong.

A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. A memorial dinner for Stan will be held on Sunday at Brushy Mountain Fire Department at 6 p.m. in Muskogee.

Stan was born April 25, 1979 in Muskogee, to Stanley Vinuard Goins Sr., and Shirley Faye Goins Oaks.

He was a loving husband and a loving father to Maddie and Wyatt Goins.

Stan was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Goins, Sr.; a daughter, Zaddie Goins; grandparents, Marie Foster and Ray Claunts.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Paul Oaks; his children, Madaline Jewell Goins and Wyatt Howard Doc Goins; their mother, Leiah Goins; and their grandparents, Jr. Fortner, Yvonne Halpain, and Zack and Jerri Waits; his siblings and their spouses, Jacob and Amber Goins, Laci Goins, and Laura and Bobby Smith; his grandmother, Florence Claunts; his grandfather, Vinuard Goins; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends.
