Graveside services for Sheryl Blish, 55, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma will be 10:30 am, Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the Tahlequah City Cemetery Gazebo. Officiating will be Brother Bill Holcomb. Pallbearers are Boyd Hamby, Steve Young, Jim Cosby, Todd Blish, John P. Blish and Barry Blish.

Blish was born March 18, 1958, in Joplin, Mo., the daughter of Vernon E. Martin and Nina B. (Brewer) Martin. She passed from this life to meet her heavenly father on July 30, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Park Hill after a lengthy illness.
Sheryl was a graduate of Stilwell High School, and attended and graduated from Northeastern State Beauty Academy.
Sheryl pursued a career in Law Enforcement Communication, working for the Tahlequah Police Department, and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office as Administrative Assistant. For the past 15 years she has worked as a legal assistant, most recently for the Cosby Law Office.
On Sept. 6, 1980, Sheryl married Greg Blish and together raised two sons, Christopher A. Blish and Chad A. Blish.
Sheryl has been preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Gary Lynn Martin.
She is survived her husband, Greg of the home; sons, Chris Blish and his wife Jennifer, and Chad Blish; grandchildren, Sean Blish, Avari Blish and Kyis Blish; special sister-in-law, Melanie Moore, all of Tahlequah; a brother, Terry Martin and wife Jeanine of Springdale, Ark.; sisters, Carol Sue Brandenburg of Oklahoma City, and Janice Martin of Stilwell; an aunt, Gail Roastingear and husband Arthur of Stilwell; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
