Mary Lucille Bullock


TAHLEQUAH — Services for Mary Lucille Bullock are at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 20, at Green Country Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Jacob Jones and Rev. J.E. Cook.

Pallbearers are: James Wilson, Mike Wheeler, Eric Bellm, Rick Bellm, Brett Bardell, Brent Bardell and Brian Bardell. Honorary pallbearers are the adult men of the Southside Baptist Church Sunday School Class.

Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at tahlequahfuneral.com.

Mary Lucille Bullock was born March 12, 1934, in Collinsville, to Everett John Bryan and Virginia E. (Jamison) Bryan. Mary passed away on April 17, 2013, in Tahlequah, at the age 79.

As a young girl her farm family moved to Tahlequah. Mary grew up and attended school in the Needmore Community. On May 25, 1951, she married Tom Bullock and they shared over sixty one years of marriage at the time of her passing.

Mary loved to fish for crappie but spent her life raising her family. She loved flowers, especially roses. She enjoyed her time at church, working with the young children and helping with their programs. Mary would also work as a ministers wife while Tom was preaching in the area country churches. Mary was a devoted wife and mother.

May was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Travis Bryan and Johnny Bryan.

She is survived by her husband, Tom of the home; her daughter, Carol Bellm and husband Rick of Pierce City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Eric Bellm and wife Erin of Oronogo, Mo., and Kristin Bucek and husband Graham of Frendswood, Texas; great granddaughter, Clare Bucek; sister, Geraldean Warren of Owasso; and sister-in-law, Lavelle Bryan of Tahlequah.
