TAHLEQUAH — Phillip A. Israel, a long-time resident of Tahlequah, passed from this life on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at his home in Tahlequah. He was 82 years old.

Phillip was born on Feb. 13, 1930, in Alluwe.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father; sister, Helen Yates; son, Keith Israel; and one grandson, Jaxon Israel.

Phillip is survived by his daughter, Kim Israel and fiancé Greg; daughter, Kelli Israel-Jones and son-in-law Dale Jones; son, John Israel and daughter-in-law Pam Israel; son, Larry Israel; and son, Kevin Israel and daughter-in-law Evelyn Israel; 17 grandchildren, Zach, Amy, Brandy Jones, Jamie, Casey, Jessica, Cody, Shania, Brandy, John Jr., Bradyn, Kelsie, Mya, Kaylee, Blaine, Jada and Eli; and five great-grandchildren, Shayla, Levi, Pressley, Anistyn and Jaylen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones.

Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m., in Tahlequah at Reed-Culver Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Moss officiating, with intermittent following at Greenleaf Cemetery.
