John Edwards McAlister

TAHLEQUAH — A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 500 W. Broadway, Muskogee, on Saturday April 6, 2013, at 1 p.m., for John Edwards McAlister, M.D.

John Edwards McAlister, M.D. passed away peacefully on March 29, 2013, at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence McAlister of Muskogee. He is survived by siblings Larry and Barbara McAlister; daughters, Deborah McAlister, M.D. and Robin Greer; grandchildren, Caitlin Kraft, Kyle Greer, Lauren Mullins and Chris Greer; and the rest of the Greers and Mullins, who have been staunch supporters. He will be remembered for his honesty in all he endeavored, his passion as a physician caregiver, his loyalty to the United States Constitution, his reverence to his faith, and his unconditional love of family.
