TAHLEQUAH — Jewel Boulton, Earlsboro resident, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, in Seminole. She was 79 years of age.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Loyd Kester, pastor of Carter Mountain Baptist Church, officiating.

Jewel was born Dec. 27, 1933, in Tailholt, the daughter of Sam and Sarah Nan (Girdner) Hodge. She attended school in Bearden, near Okemah. She lived in Earlsboro for many years and owned several rental properties in the area. She loved and enjoyed having fun with her family and she loved her church.

She is survived by two sons, Chuck Hodge and Levi Boulton; one sister, Elsie Tarrance; three brothers, Alton Hodge, John Hodge and Ralph Hodge; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her parents; and four brothers, Arthur “Doc” Hodge, Alvin Hodge, Otis Hodge and Raymond Hodge.
