TAHLEQUAH – Graveside services for Willis Grimm, 95, of Tahlequah, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, in the Tahlequah City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at the First Evangelical Free Church, with Chaplain Paul Tavener, Pastor Joseph Tschirhart and Rev. Barry Wehrle officiating.

Mr. Grimm was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Kansas. His parents were Louise Burt and Clyde Grimm. He had one sister, Eloise, born in 1923. He grew up in Idaho. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute and Northern Baptist Theology Seminary in Chicago.
In 1941, he married Florence Martin. They had two children, George and Phyllis. He pastored three churches in Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa. Feeling a call to lay ministry, he went to work for Scripture Press Publications in 1952, and lived in the Wheaton, Ill.., area. In 1962, his wife Florence died. A year later, he married Elaine Springborn. In 1983, they retired and moved to Hot Springs Village, Ark. In 1993, they moved to Go Ye Village, in Tahlequah. Elaine died in 2002. In 2010, Willis married Lorraine Ackley.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife, Lorraine, his son and daughter, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
