Sandra Jane Brocksmith was born August 4, 1944, in Charleston, W.V., to Carl and Maxine (Wilkerson) Whitson. She passed away on Monday, March 17, at her home in Tahlequah at the age of 69.
Sandra married Ed Brocksmith on June, 6, 1964, in Tulsa. From this union came three sons, Edward, Henry and Richard.
Sandra was a graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business.
She loved reading, traveling and camping in her RV trailer, especially with her sons and her grandchildren.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Maxine Whitson of Barling, Ark.; and a brother, Bob Whitson of Little Rock, Ark.
She is survived by her husband, Edward G. Brocksmith, of the home; sons, Edward Shane Brocksmith and his wife Nicole of Tulsa, Henry Carl Brocksmith and his wife Rose, of Lynnwood, Wash., and Richard Flint Brocksmith and his wife Eleven of Mount Vernon, Wash.; grandchildren, Chloe Brocksmith and Ethan Brocksmith, of Tulsa, Maddi Brocksmith, Lynnwood, Wash., and Laura Mabie and Danielle Mabie, also of Lynnwood, and Dylan Brocksmith and Zoe Brocksmith, of Mount Vernon; and her sister, Diane Cavett of Ponca City.
