David Robert Mann


TAHLEQUAH — Funeral Services for David Robert Mann will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 in the Hart Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Holcomb officiating. Family visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 29, from 6-8 p.m. Private family interment will be in the Tahlequah City Cemetery.

David Robert Mann, the son of Edward and Barbara (Osler) Mann, was born Sept. 1, 1944 in Imperial, Neb. and departed this life on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 in Tahlequah, at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 26 days.

David enjoyed life and loved people. He never met a stranger and enjoyed being together with friends and family.

David had a lot of close friends because he not only enjoyed people, but people enjoyed him as well. He enjoyed traveling and seeing new places and sights, and he loved putting models together, especially model cars. He enjoyed westerns, whether it was a movie or a book. David touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a loving family, which includes his wife Susan of the home; his children, Robert Mann of Tulsa, Karen Mann of Tahlequah, John David Harrison and wife Roslyn of Tahlequah, and Monica Mattox of Houston; his brother, Gary Mann and wife Candy, and his sister, Patricia K. Cochran and husband Jim, all of Frisco, Texas. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
