William Heath Reid

CHECOTAH — William Heath Reid, 47, of Checotah, passed away on Aug. 30, 2013 in Tulsa. Heath was born on April 4, 1966, in Spokane, Wash., to Bill and Beverly (Price) Reid. He attended and graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1984. Heath served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a security officer for Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah. Heath enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Beverly Reid, of Eufaula; daughter, Kristen Ward, of Checotah; two brothers, Michael Reid and wife, Linda, of Tulsa and Phillip Reid and wife, Melissa  , of Fayetteville, Ark.; and one sister, Christina Stech and husband, Brian, of Barrington, Ill.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at the North Fork Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott Newton officiating. Cremation arrangements were made with Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home and Crematory.
