Owen Odell

VAN BUREN, Ark. —  Owen Odell, 77, of Van Buren, Ark., died Sunday Sept. 8, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born Feb. 11, 1936, in Hulbert, to the late Grady Lee and Emma Odell. He was a retired general contractor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Odell.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Odell of the home; his children, Victoria of Broken Arrow, and Michael of Van Buren; two brothers, Steven and Jim Odell of Hulbert; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
