Services for Rhonda Lee Wade, 55, of Tahlequah, are Saturday, Dec. 15, at 3 p.m., in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel.
Rhonda Lee Wade was born Sept. 22, 1957, in Ledonia, Texas, to Jimmie and Billie Ruth (Butler) Freeman. She passed on Dec. 10, 2012, in Tahlequah.
Rhonda was a graduate of Kimble High School in Kimble, Texas, before attending NSU.
Rhonda married Jerry Wade on Aug. 23, 1976, in Dallas, Texas.
She went to work for Help-In-Crisis as a domesticate violence court advocate, working in the court system assisting victims of domestic violence.
Rhonda was awarded the 2001 Woman of The Year Award from the Oklahoma Association for her work against domestic violence.
Rhonda enjoyed gardening, cooking for family, and pleasing her grandbaby.
Rhonda has been preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Tiffany Bates.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; daughter, Jennifer Archer and husband Jason of Tahlequah; and granddaughter, Jadilynn Archer; sisters, Jimmie Green and Dwight of Quinlan, Texas, and Angie Hunter and Jeff of Royse City, Texas; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, loved ones, and her dogs, Daisy and Molly will all miss her very much.
